Prepositions are the "glue" that holds a sentence together. Without them, you sound like a robot! They tell us where things are, where we are going, and when things happen.
The "Portuguese Math" (Contractions): The biggest challenge in Portuguese is that prepositions like to "marry" the articles (o, a, os, as). This is called a contraction.
Instead of saying two words, we combine them into one.
